Shureice is a beauty enthusiast with a strong background in science, art and beauty. She's done it all - from being on the team of scientists that discovered the world's first triple burial, to chairing an award winning non profit board, to having her beauty looks reposted by Elle USA. She brings her love of science, beauty and community together as the founder of Fleeky Friday, a beauty brand built on the needs of its customers. Fleeky Friday's products have garnered attention from global beauty authorities and made many "Best Of" lists for the Today Show & Byrdie beauty!

Elizabeth Gay

Elizabeth Dawes Gay (she/her) is a social entrepreneur, founder of Ìpàdé, founder of Sisu Consulting, and co-founder of Black Mamas Matter Alliance. Her life's mission is to create a world where womxn of color have what they need to achieve their ideal well-being. Elizabeth’s lived experience as a Black woman in the United States drives her to fight injustice and create a more equitable world. Elizabeth founded Ìpàdé because womxn of color deserve a beautiful and functional sanctuary where they can work, learn, strategize, and organize free from racially-driven macro and micro aggression.

Chelsea Mooreland

Dr. Chelsea Mooreland, is a board certified Family Physician practicing full spectrum primary care in Central Ohio. Dr. Mooreland received her Medical Degree from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and selected as a National Health Service Corp Scholar. She completed her residency training with Grant Family Practice of OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where she continues to serve as adjunct faculty or community preceptor. She completed a rigorous area of concentration in Women’s Health and Obstetrics during her residency training and believes that full spectrum family centered care is the key to addressing the maternal health crisis by bridging the gap.

Meshia is a historian, serial entrepreneur, and nomad who’s spent the last decade living, working, and traveling across 14 African nations. This journey is rooted in an ongoing investigation of tech’s potential to create social impact and preserve African Diaspora history, cultures, and communities. She got her start at the First Lady of Rwanda’s Office and foundation and has worked on projects at the intersections of international development, cultural preservation, tourism, digital strategy, policy, and sustainability. Now as cofounder of kinkofa, Meshia's professional and personal curiosities come full circle.

Marcella Graham

Hi, I’m Marcella and I’m the Founder of The Root Remedy. I started the brand during the pandemic as a way to help manage my mental and emotional health. I noticed that there was a lack of diversity in health and beauty brands on the shelves so I created one. With a background in Tech and Marketing, I used her strengths in design, market research, and strategy to build an organic online community that felt true to my values as a Founder. Diversity, inclusivity, and mental health advocacy for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ members are just to name a few. We plan to be the ultimate self-care destination for millennials who want an easy way to take control of their health and beauty routine from the inside out. At The Root Remedy, beauty starts from within.
