Currently testing the thesis that if we remove the race, gender and education of businesses that we can improve the portfolio returns of investors while at the same time increasing the amount of black and brown founders receiving capital.

FELOH was inspired by my own journey going natural. In undergrad, I cut off my chemically straightened hair to embrace my natural hair texture, but found myself lost when it came to finding "influencers" I could relate to and learn from, and products to use for my unique hair texture. I also wanted to support smaller hair care brands and easily locate brands that were Black, LatinX, or LGBTQ+ owned, but found it challenging to do so. The combination of my own lived experience and my learnings inspired FELOH. Our deeper mission is to provide a digital space that redefines beauty through the lens of inclusion, self-love, and rewards, so that everyone sees themselves as beautiful and feels valued for their unique perspective.

Candi Reddick

Candi Reddick (she/hers) is a passionate social entrepreneur and the founder of Mindful Maroon, a groundbreaking holistic health platform and community for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. She is deeply rooted in the community and builds spaces that encourage people to tell their stories, collectively heal, and work together to create a more just world. Candi is an HBCU graduate, trauma-informed yogi, and triple-certified wellness advocate.

Chrishon Lampley

Bold, resilient, tenacious, and innovative are a few words to describe highly accomplished entrepreneur Chrishon Lampley. Her road to success has not been an easy one, but to Lampley, success is inspiring at least one person to follow and reach their dreams. She learned early on that in order for her to achieve her dreams, she would have to overcome limitations and challenges. Since then, she has built a successful career and shattered every glass ceiling imaginable. Did you know that less than 1% of wine industry negociants are black women? Lampley is not only an experienced negociant, but she is also a wine enthusiast and founder of LCS Entertainment, LLC.

Christine Izuakor

Dr. Christine Izuakor is the Founder and CEO of Cyber Pop-up. She has over a decade of experience leading cybersecurity functions within the Fortune 100 space and is a 5-year graduate professor. Christine earned a Ph.D. in Security Engineering, becoming the youngest student and first African American woman to do so. Her rapid growth in the technology industry landed her spots on numerous change-makers lists, including Business Crain's Tech 50 List and the Crains 20 in their 20s List. She has also been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Cheddar News, Hemispheres Magazine, MyStart TV, and more.
