In 2013, I was on vacation in Puerto Rico, wanting to enjoy the water—but didn’t want to ruin my hair or wear a tight, uncomfortable swim cap. I ended up in a baseball cap and thought: there has to be a better solution. One that’s soft, stretchy, breathable, stylish, and waterproof. There wasn’t—so I invented it. AQUA launched in 2019 with a patented line of waterproof turbans and headwraps. Beyond beauty, AQUA supports women with scalp sensitivities, chemo, or alopecia, offering breathable, UV-protective coverage. I built AQUA to empower women to live boldly, confidently, and unapologetically—rain or shine.
